from Goose Pond
Gate. Each walk to last approx 1.5 hours. Easy walking on flat ground. |

| Children’s trail in the wood | Between 11.00am -12.30pm | Pick up a question sheet at the entrance to the wood by the church gates, find the answers, and return to the common to collect your prize. | Note that this is an unsupervised activity – please stay with your children at all times. |
| Picnic on the common | From 12.30pm | Bring your own picnic and join us in the long grass on the common to watch the cricket… | In the event of wet weather, come and picnic in the Village Hall. |
| Displays to view in the Village Hall | 12noon – 5.00pm | Come to the Hall to view the: - “saving the woods” display; - Penn Wood photo competition; - children’s Penn Wood picture competition & “home grown” | Please see below for how to enter the competitions. Competition prizes will be awarded at 4.30pm. |
| Tea and cake in the Village Hall | 3.00pm – 5.00pm | ||
| BBQ supper in the Village Hall | 7.00pm – 9.30pm | Tickets to be purchased in advance. £5 per adult, £2.50 per child under 16 eating. Please bring your own drinks. | Torch lit walk through Penn Wood | 9.30pm. | Gather for a final celebration at the Penna at sunset. | Please bring a torch! |
